I looked into your eyes
I wanted to see your love
But I only saw your lies
I felt your skin
I wanted to feel your safety
But I only felt your sin
I ran my fingers through your hair
I wanted you to be here
But I could see that you did not care
I wanted you to be the one for me
I should have known this is all you’d be
