There is always a little flakiness behind the mask…
My name is Megan Ashley Williams. I’m a seventeen year old homeschooled student of approximately two years now, and hoping to be attending St. Leo’s college as well as this college after I graduate. I live with my mother, Jenny Williams, along with my three siblings; Hannah, C.J, and Conner, and also my best friend Dustin, whose parent’s just recently evicted. I live in a small town called Swanton, Ohio, just fifteen minutes East of Toledo, Ohio, and have been living here for a little over a year now.
I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, but moved to a little town called Weston when I was seven. From there I moved around a lot, but never left the state of Ohio. My whole family has been raised in West Virginia since birth, so we are what most people call “hillbillies”. I don’t mind it though, because we are who we are and that’s all that matters in my book.
My family is great. I’ve only met a small fraction of them, but the ones I have gotten to know, always leave priceless memories. My grandma and Grandpa live about an hour away from us in Weston, and I love them to death; they are like my second mom and dad. They raised my siblings and me while my mom got her life straight, and with everyday we are together, that bond still grows stronger. My grandma has a lot of negative input, especially when it comes to me, but I know she’s just worried. My grandpa though, he’s something else. We go to concerts and stuff all the time. We are complete music junkies when together, and I convinced him to grow his hair long, which is so awesome.
My birth father walked out on my mom and I when I was only four, after coming home drunk and causing a scene. I went to stay with him about a year ago, but that only lasted for about three weeks, because he went ballistic on me, saying I was a liar, and that I needed a shrink, etc. It’s not something that I don’t tend to dwell upon though, because I know where I stand, and honestly, he isn’t worth all the trouble to neither me nor my family. Danny has been here for me my whole life, and that’s just the way I like it.
Okay, now Danny is my stepdad of eleven years. He hasn’t been the best husband, but he’s always there for my mom when it comes down to it. My mom and Danny have been married for approximately seven, almost eight years now, and he cheated on her for about two years, including on their wedding night. Things were crazy, and everyone hated Danny for the longest time, but he really has proved that he is a good man after all.
