We take advantage of the smallest things in life. As the say you never really know what you have until it’s gone.
This life consists of a lot of gambling and betting. You never know what life is going to hand you. There is one thing that every parent, friend, family member, and every other person that may care about you say; don’t take advantage of life. I left Georgia just last week to come for a week visit in New York. I did not realize how much I would miss home. Yeah, there are things about Georgia that I don’t care that much for, but there is so much that I miss. It is the beginning of the week and I’m already wanting to go home. I could probably live with moving to South Carolina where it’s not too far from home, but states away, I don’t think I could do. I was raised in Georgia, it’s a part of my genes.
I have gotten quit a history lesson from New York. Seen some pretty cool things. Had my share of “oh craps” in traffic and “wows” while going through the city. I could see why some people would want to live there. There are so many shopping centers, attraction sites, and entertainment. Most everything is close to you unless your in the country part of the state, but even that is a little different from home. It seems as if even the sky is different even though I am under the same sky that is in Georgia. I guess I should explain to you a little of my history and why Georgia means so much to me. It may or may not make sense to you, but to me, it makes a lot of sense.
I grew up in Ellabell, Georgia. Many, as read on my profile, does not know where this is unless you have family or friends that live in or near this little city. My father and mother were both born and raised not far from each other. A very strange situation with those two. We don’t really speak to one another. They are still married though and living their own lives. My grandmother (on my fathers side) had lost her husband two months before I was born. From the stories I have heard I would have loved to meet him. A very humble man who didn’t take crap from anyone. He took care of my grandmother in any possible way he could. She never really went without. They moved to Ellabell 46 years ago, buying a twelve acre piece of property. Right before my grandfather died the land was distributed between all six children. Then making the small dirt road Jarrell Road.
