My reason for becoming an engineer.
A visit to my cousins and three hours spent in the basement identified to me what I loved and what would become my passion in life, inventing. As a little boy technology and inventions fascinated me. I would take my Dad’s radio and break it and when he came scolding I would tell him that I would arrange it. But when I visited my cousins at the age of 5, what I did there convinced me that I wanted to become an inventor or in today terms an engineer.
At their house, I paid a little visit to their basement. While I was looking for some toys I found a chemistry set with test tubes and chemicals in it. I started by mixing two chemicals together which gave me a brownish color. I got so excited that I spent my whole time mixing chemicals. To make me leave, my cousins had to promise me that they would give me the chemistry set. This scene only helped in beginning my fascination in inventions. From then on nothing could stop my hands from picking up objects. I started by breaking radios and computers, then I started building simple circuits that produced light thereby growing my passion for invention. I then began arranging my calculator upgrading it with simple new applications like adding light flashers when the calculator gave an answer and then I began building small generators that supplied energy to continue shining a bulb.
In Secondary School, when I started doing Physics, I was first introduced to the greatest scientist such as Einstein, Rutherford and Newton who all fascinated me by their works. Then when we started learning the concepts of physics in our everyday life, theories and parts of science that can still not be answered today, I just fell in love with all these. I then started writing theories and unanswered questions of my own. I spent two full years filling exercises books with theories and unanswered questions which I kept preciously for my quest in the future. From then on, I have been trying to answer some of the questions and perfect my theories. With so many unanswered questions to go, I plan to continue my search to the truth in your school in order to get the final answers that will solve some of the puzzles of science.
In High school, my love for inventions pushed me virtually into becoming an engineer. As a child I had always fixed a goal to bring about so many inventions that would help my country, continent and the world. Computers on their part had been one my greatest … After breaking my first computer as a child, I started using simple photo editor to rearrange pictures. I then started producing short movies and studying computers intensively. But on my vacations in France, my decision to become a computer engineer was made completely cleared to me.
