I have a 10 year old boy who has had a behavior problem his whole life, I have tried everything to change this but nothing worked until I took him to several doctors and after a lot of testing I have found that he has a Seizure Disorder, and  REM Behavioral Disorder, these disorders only happen at night so he doesn’t sleep very well and makes him act out during the day because he doesn’t get the good sleep he needs to get along well in society the way other children do. I wanted to let everybody know that there is a link between Seizures and mental illness.  

  I know that there are a lot of people out there saying why does my child act this way and what can I do about it. The best thing to do is just talk to your  Doctor and let him know everthing and ask a lot of questions. That way you might find out the cause and get to the bottom of the problem like I think I have done.
