A pretend interview with archaeologist Howard Carter.

  1. What do you feel Carter? Being the first person in thousands of years to walk into this tomb gives me an immense sense of achievement and accomplishment.
  2. Are we going to keep any of this gold before the guy comes tomorrow?
  3. What do you think? (Pause) Of course.
  4. Do you think the this old air that we are breathing might be harmful? No, but this stuff I am painting on the walls may kill a few people.
  5. Do you think everyone will show you any more respect now? No, they will probably burn this mummy like they have with all the other mummies.
  6. I wonder what this means? Ah, I think it means Tuntankamun.
  7. Do you wonder how he died? No of cause not! Do you think I have been here for countless years trying to find out why the guy died. Of course not. I am here for the gold!
  8. How much gold do you think is here? No idea but fill your pockets with the stuff.
Do you reckon our names will be remembered? Not yours but mine.
