This is a horrible experience that happened to me back in November 2007.

I can relate to this. I have arthritis in my shoulder and chest joints. Stress aggravates this condition as we tend to hunch up and pull in when unhappy. I was luckier than you–I went to my regular physician during the day, and he recommended ibuprophen since I cannot take aspirin.

you were very lucky. The first sign of a heart attack is denial.
What I discovered is that, and in your case it’s also true, the signs of a heart attack are not exact. My dad, had emphysema and asthma. He went via ambulance because he couldn’t breathe, turned out to be a heart attack. after his bypass surgery, he had, what I was told the classic heart attack symptoms and off he went to the hospital via ambulance only to be a severe asthma attack. Better to be over safe than under sorry. Unless you truly have nothing to live for, go be sure.
