A ghost story of a woman, that wanted a ride on a hot summer day. Never knew until later.
This is a true story that I am about to tell you. Again God was testing me and I did not fail.
My brother and were driving to a downtown shopping area. It was summer and the weather was scorching hot. Full sun and almost breathless to breath in the summer heat.My brother was driving I sat next to him in the front seat. As we turn the block in the downtown area, we saw this lady standing in the street next to a bus stop. She was drenched in sweat, and to me she looked about 75 to 80 years old. I told my brother “Dennis look at that lady waiting for a bus,it is too hot out here for her to be waiting for a bus, she will pass out”. She had stepped off the sidewalk to stand and wave in the street. I think she was trying to get someone to stop. We stopped. I told her to get in ,we will take her where she has to go. She said to my brother and I that it was too hot to wait for the bus. She look just like she just came out of a shower. She got into the back seat. She was carrying a purse, which she laid beside her. we took her 3 maybe 4 blocks away from where we picked her up. We pulled up in front of this store and she got out. She thanked us and went into the store. As we pulled of in the car, we realized she forgot her purse. I said to my brother go back we got to give her her purse. So we went back to the store. Dennis got out and went in. Dennis asked where is the lady that just came into this store, and then Dennis describe what she was wearing and how she looked. The store clerk said A person like that never came into this store. Dennis tried to convince her he just dropped her off here and she forgot her purse in my car. Again the clerk said no such person came in here like that. Dennis left the store and got back into the car and told me what happen. I could not believe that and asked him “are you sure?” for I know we sure did drop her off in front of this store and watched her go in. Denise put the purse back in the back seat and we decided to take the purse to the police station and let them find her and return the purse. On the way to the police station, a strange thing happen. The purse disappeared. We were asking each other where is the purse? we stopped the car and looked for that purse. we thought it might of fallen under-the car seat, so we looked there and we searched and search that car and that purse can not be found anywhere. We drove home still amazed to what happen to that purse, and that there was no seeing of the woman that Dennis describe enter that store. Did God send a angel to test us? did we see a ghost. Did we talk to a ghost? It was all so real, she did get in the car , she did go into that store, she spoke to us in the car, there was nothing else to make us think that she was a spiritual being. This brings me to the word of God when he said…Hebrews 13:2…..Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertain Angels unaware. this incident I will never forget. even if it did happen several years ago. IT HAPPEN.
