This is about my driving test, which tells my experience with driver instructors.

I remember on one occasion when I waited for him for 45 minutes to one hour as he didn’t show up. I called him on his mobile phone to find out whether he was coming or not which he didn’t pick up. Then I went to their BSM head office to see if Mr. Hussein was there but I could not find him there either. I spoke to one lady at the BSM office in Ealing, and told her the situation. She tried calling him but there was no answer.

I told the lady I no longer wish to continue my driving lessons with BSM, therefore I would like to cancel it if they could refund the rest of my money. She told me if I am not happy with their services I could cancel it. She said she will send me a cheque in the next ten working days. I was really glad. When I got home I did a research and made some phone calls to other driving schools, and finally I found a good instructor that came on time and finished on time. When ever he was late, he would give me a call to let me know.

His name was Mr. Albert. He was in his 30s but looked much younger. Albert was from Hong Kong, who had been living in the UK for a very long time. He had a degree in computers, and he was a very smart guy. I took several driving lessons with Mr. Albert, and then it was time to take my driving test for the first time. I failed it and I was very disappointed.  Shortly afterwards I had to go on holiday to see my family after two years. I spent forty five days with my family which I had a great time.

When I got back from holiday, it took me one and half year to rebook my driving lesson. I passed my driving test on Thursday at 20th September 2007 in the holy month of Ramadan. It was so incredible, that I could not believe. A wonderful and great feeling even when I remember it. It was a great achievement for me and if I wouldn’t have passed on that particular time, it would have resulted in bad consequences. I would have to retake my theory test because it expires if you don’t pass your driving test in two years time.

Congratulations Abdul. Its a great feeling. I can remember when my eldest son Mark passed. He actually passed first time which none of us could believe, not even him, but we were so happy for him.
