Biography.
English is the most rewarding class I have taken not only because of the writing and books but because you don’t need numbers or formulas. Which is why I hate math and science, though math has always been my least rewarding subject, last year earth science took its place thanks to Mr. Chuchla. My earth science teacher had a weird accent, wrote extremely sloppy, spoke fast, and on top of it all didn’t really explain everything in a way people could understand. So all throughout the year I loathed that class. He always seemed to get into a fight with any random person when they tried to explain to him that they didn’t really understand him. So I always got a grade that left me feeling like I was stupid. My hope for this year is that I can pass all of my classes with an 85 or above.
While in school I have learned that I can’t always be what people want me to be and that I can’t judge people for what they are. This new fact alone has improved the way I feel about myself and other people. It has also made me see how fake I used to feel when I tried to be something I wasn’t. I believe that I will carry out this knew knowledge with me for a pretty long time and that I will use it to my advantage. Hopefully it will also help me find good people to keep as friends in the future. It will be enjoyable to wait and see how it will affect my adult life.
Sincerely,
Dahiana Pena
