Stories from my life.
It was 7pm. Mary was coming back home from school. When she came home and tried to unlock the
door, there was something wrong. Her key couldn’t unlock the door and there was nobody in the house.
Her mother just went to work, and her father was on the 3-day business trip. It was already dark, and she
couldn’t get to the house because something was wrong with the key.
“What the hell now…”, said Mary upset, “I will just call mom..”
But she didn’t bring her cellphone. She searches all over her bag, but nothing.
She was very upset and scared. She lived far away from school with no neighbours around. It was very
late and she didn’t know what to do. She couldn’t break windows or through the door, that would leave
her unprotected for whole night and anyone could break in. She sit near the door.
“Okay… If I break through the door I won’t be safe all night.. Neither if I break through the window… Oh
well.. I will just break through the back window… “
Mary broke through the back window and got into the house. She took a phone and called her mother…
“Hi mom!”
“Hey honey. How was at school today?”
“Nothing much. But when I was coming back home I broke my key.. And I couldn’t get into the house so I
broke through the back window.. And I forgot my cell phone so I couldn’t call you… “
“Oh..! OK let me just copy the key and I will come. I will be there in about 30 minutes. Just stay at home,
OK?”
“OK mom, hurry up, bye.”
She hung up. She was about to put her backpack on the floor when somebody caught her arms and put something around her mouth. She tried to scream but nobody else could hear her. They got her through
the back window. She was trying to release her arms but she couldn’t. She dropped her cellphone and it crushed in few peaces on the floor.. They got her through the window. They put her in the car and drove away…
Meanwhile…
Mary’s mom, Julia, was driving home. She tried to call Mary but she didn’t answer. Julia was a little
worried, but again, she thought that Mary’s cell phone was in backpack and she didn’t hear it.
10 minutes later…
Julia came home and unlocked the door…
“Mary… Mary..! Where are you?”
but nobody answered… When she came in her room, she saw the pieces of cell phone on the floor..
