I am not an investor in this Legacy pyramiding scam but I was an agent.  I have learned about this company for about 2 years before I even joined them as a sales agent.  In those 2 years I have seen people earned double with the investments they have made and Legacy was selling as hot as pancakes in the streets.  I have also seen agents that I’ve known for 2 years gradually buying the things they want out of their commission from the investments made through them to Legacy.  You’ll see agents who were once taking the jeepney to work who now have a descent car and slowly the parking lot in the Legacy office was filled with cars of Legacy agents.  It was a promising career and the portfolio of the company seem legitimate. 

A friend of mine have been trying to recruit me for a long time but I was hesitant.  I was working full-time in the church at that time and so I was not paying that much attention to the offer, but I was observing.  After a year I’ve heard members of our church investing with Legacy and they were happy about the earnings that they see.  Everything seem so good so when the time that I decided to be a self-supporting minister of the church, I finally joined the sales group for Legacy. 

At that point in time, there were a lot of issues arising but when we ask the office about it they seem to have all the answers and documents to support it.  The owner, Celso delos Angeles, even called for a public meeting with all the agents and clients assuring them that this is just a temporary set back. 

To make the long story short, the end came for the Legacy Group of Companies.  We just woke up one day to see in the news that all the Legacy owned rural banks were closed.  Clients came to us in panic and so were we as agents.  We stormed to the office seeking for answers.  Some of us went to Manila to get answers directly from the head office in Makati only to be greeted by the security guard telling us that the office has been closed.
