Something that is So Mind Racking.
The Worst Dilemma in the World…The story begins with me buying a piece of merchandise that is of great value to me and probably only me and few more out there.
As a kid I loved a TV series called Digimon. I was able to watch the first two seasons of the series and stop before the series went sour. So, a few years pass and I have some money now. I decide to go and buy the series online. First I want Season 1, the discontinued version and there are used and new. I pick new since I am such a Digimon freak. After paying and confirming my order and waiting a few days for it to ship. It finally gets to my house.
I was so happy the day I saw it crammed into my mailbox. I was over joyed. I brought it home with great care and placed it on a pillow to open. Delicately I cut open the first package. Then I see the next package. The package that makes that videos hold their value…the packaging…panic fills me.
Do I open the package and make it lose its value?!? Or do I not open it and find out the discs inside are scratched and broken?!?
So the common thing to do, I gently shake the package. It sounds like the discs are fine and feels like the discs are still secure in place, so there shouldn’t be scratches…
But still the tension mounts. Do I open and diminish its value or risk having trash in the package.
Please leave your opinion. I will write The Worst Dilemma in the World 2 when I have decided what to do.
If there are ways to inspect discs without opening packages please leave a comment.
*The inspection cannot damage the VALUABLE Digimon episodes or diminish their value.
Plus, I know I should open it to watch the episodes, but I can do that online. I just need to be able to own it and feel the excitment of seeing the package. I can’t do that if I think the discs are broken inside.
