Whenever I see a bus, it makes me remember about my unforgettable experience. This story is all about that memorable day.

Two weeks ago we had a family reunion and while we were looking for a place to park our car,I saw the bus above. It looked very attractive because of its purple color.I am one of those Trionders who love to share pictures in Picable so I wasn’t able to resist taking a shot. It was about to leave so what I got was its back view. I wasn’t satisfied with the result that was why I didn’t upload it for Picable.
Now, I decided to include the picture here cause it reminded me of my unforgettable experience in a bus.
When I was in fourth grade our school’s PE teacher chose three girls and three boys to witness the Provincial Gymnastics Exhibition and I was one of them. I was excited because my best friend was also chosen and our parents permitted us to go. I was also happy that we needed to ride a bus to reach to go there.
We rode that day on a red bus which we call here as the Philippine Rabbit. It was approximately half an hour ride so my best friend and I kept on chatting as the wheels of the bus went round and round. Unfortunately my friend felt a little dizzy so she swapped places with one of the boys and sat next to our teacher.
I was not used to talking with a boy so I decided to sing some Nursery Rhymes and some songs I know. I didn’t know that I was singing a bit louder than I thought. I noticed some of the passengers listening so I kind a felt embarrassed and stopped singing.
A few minutes after that I received a juice in a tetra pack bought from vendors in the bus. The other five children were also given juices. I thought our teacher bought them for us but when I was about to thank her, I saw that she was also surprised to receive one.
It was a bit puzzling cause we know that the juice vendor would not give juices for free. One of the passengers saw that we were puzzled and gave a signal that the one who bought the juices was a man sitting in the front row. When we reached the place were we needed to get off the bus, I smiled at the man and he smiled back. When the bus was out of our sight, my teacher said, ” I think he enjoyed listening to you us much as we did.”
Now, I sometime sing with our church choir however I don’t have the confidence to sing a solo part. Whenever I remember that experience, it makes me smile. At least, once I did and someone appreciated it.
Here’s an amusing video of the care bears singing Wheels on the Bus:
