A Narrative Essay writtten for a graded Composition I assignment at Texas State Technical College in Sweetwater, Texas, United States of America.
As a Christian in Pflugerville, Texas, I love to attend church and there met the most influential person in my life. In Church service is the best place to meet people that you will never forget. Meeting people in the presence of the Lord, in the Lords House, in the eyes of the Lord, is the best way to meet lifelong and deep-rooted friends. I hopefully will give you reasons to begin to love this place.
The most influential person that I have ever met is Kevin (Kip) Burdit. He lived in Austin, Texas was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I am writing this story because, the man was polite very educated. He was the owner and operation of his own company, and a pleasant employer. He was well spoken; we had good discussions in church. He was a confidant, an adult giver of perspective. He was motivational. He was the first and only one whose advice pertained the truthfulness to my divorce and was focused towards what was really best for me. I remember when he said, “You do not want to be around a person like that,” and “You want to get as far away from them as possible.”
We spoke as men. Though the sports teams success and Texan plays as player highlights where mentioned and compared. I now know that these were in themselves “exercises” in my thinking and rationalization. He was much older than I, and was a successful business man and kept his assertiveness personified. He had the hardworking displayable in him.
