A Narrative Essay writtten for a graded Composition I assignment at Texas State Technical College in Sweetwater, Texas, United States of America.

As in the least, thoughts of and watching all the horrid events in the news today, can be a downward spiral to hear.   When I begin to think of them all it saddens me.

Would we rather be a destructive people and destroy the place we live?  Do we enjoy corrupting one another?   Example number one, craigslist online sex solicitations.   Do we enjoy misguiding one another, example number two, the millionaire Mad doff.   Do we enjoy killing one another in a murderous attitude, example number three,  Mr. (Police Officer) Peterson?  Involving more than one young beautiful woman at a time.   A “killing order” perhaps?  Do we believe and support these actions to one another enough to continue to perform and listen to the same?  Or do we sit and watch getting angry about people trying to infiltrate our country and successfully plan to destroy buildings.  There is an option, other people and things to hold our interest.

Some people speak of church saying, it is not a good place to meet people.  Saying, the people in church are only there to sing, dance and watch a person read text from the bible and preach a lesson or sermon from its teaching is boring.   It is a loud and very busy place.  I have heard much.  It is the perfect place to meet people.  We go there to praise, rejoice, give thanks together and leave the church building relieved that our worries were taken from us.  We depart happy, seeking to share and meet others as us.

I learned these things from time with this man.  These ways reaffirm the belief in me that meeting him (the most influential person in my life), and other people, in church was good for me and benefited me for later in life.  I leaned to trust and understand all of the things involved in the decisions in life at the personal and most reflective level.   The self evaluative level.  I learned how to integrate and understand spiritually.  I learned to listen to and understand.   Not just to accept the silly reasons as being the only understanding.  I lost the need to emotionally perceive with the company of this man.  I learned to listen, love and nurture life, with love and happiness. These all were reasons and logic that I gained from him. Views on people, as indivuals, is in the changing stages.  A determination of who is going to get what, as far as resources, guidance or maybe even leadership.

There is a deeper embedded regulation with different types of modifications and changes within our country.  The structure is coming, months (within three years) before a national health care plan is begun.  This is only a “measurable and comparative” “example of other possible types of modification and changes.

A shared place of celebration, worship and prayer is the most logical and best recourse.  Allowing us to be heartfelt to one another.    Nurture our involvement to participate in a large or small group in any large scale activity, such as a large athletic event or large attendance outdoor festival creates the same results.  There are many new grounds and tracks being laid and unknowns potentially followed today.  Unity is the perfect solution to many of these doubts.   We can listen and believe that things are all bad, doom and gloom.  Or we can unite in some ways in celebration, activity and participate to overcome and refocus our beliefs, opinions and interrelation to one another.  Or we can listen to the hype, everyday things, get mad depressed, or sad and continue in the invisible cycle, but I prefer church.
