I did volunteer work for the Salvation Army in the month of July. I helped raise money to help people who are in need of food, clothing, and shelter.

I spent my time in the month of July  raising money for the Salvation Army, on July 10, 2009 I ringed the bell at Stop &  Shop on Palmer Road in New Rochelle. I did volunteer work from 12:00 pm to 6:00 p:m I  helped raised $167.00 that day. I also did  volunteer work  on saturdays in the evening time  at Stop & Shop In New Roc City I helped raise $285.00 the people were very friendly in that area.

 I also did volunteer work  at Pelham Train Station on July 11, 2009 It was a sunny day  I helped raised $137.00.  On July 14,  It was a good day people  donated to the Salvation Army I  helped raised $142.00. On  July 15, 2009  I raised $92.00  i t was a slow day on July 17, 2009 I  raised $90.00   on July 21, 2009  it was a rainy day I was very displeasesd  I had only raised $57.00 I decided this would be my last day doing volunteer work  at Pelham Train Station. The same day I was asked to do volunteer work in Mamaroneck at the A&P super market I raised $142.00 I felt better for the rest of the evening.

Larchmont Train Station was  another  discouraging place I was sent to do volunteer work alot of people didn’t give  donations  to the Salvation Army, however I helped raised $69.00 the first day I was sent there on July 22, 2009 It was a hot day at Larchmont train station alot of people were waiting for the train to arrive I raised $114.00 that day.

On July 16, 2009 earlier  in  morning  I was sent to do volunteer work at the New Rochelle Train Station I helped raise $162.00. The next day I was sent back to do volunteer work at the New Rochelle Train Station I helped raised $137.00.

The best place I did volunteer work was Stop & Shop on Palmer Road  in New Rochelle on July 24, 2009  I raised $242.00 it was a great day people gave donations. On July 25, 2009 I raised $231.00  and last but not least my last day doing volunteer work  I had  helped raised $210.00 in the month of July these donations are to help  the people who are in need of food, shelter,  and clothing.

    i bet you felt good helping them to donate all this money when you worked for them, it gives you a purpose in life to help others.Interesting read.
