A flock of crows gliding and playing in the wind of the sky together.

We are blessed with a world of wonder.  I guess when you are young you are tempted by the propaganda of the world to explore…. and all that entails.  Belonging to something and fitting in, or not.

As a young person I never really fit in.  I was always on the outside looking in.  Odd, weird, dorky, nerd, spaz were just a few things I was called.  What everyone failed to realize was that I felt complimented by these names.  I took pride in being “Me” and believe me that changed so many times in my lifetime, but the basic morality was there.

I genuinely like and am impressed by the “Third Generation.”  People that have already lived long lives, and tell the coolest stories.  It always amazed me how the simple things like the grapefruit coming in delighted some.  Or ladybugs and lizards in the garden, not only cuz they were fun to watch but cuz they were a natural insecticide.  ( I noticed that the lizards got a bit horny after the rain, bunch of leepin lizards! hahahahaha, never told my dear older friend cuz she was so innocent).

Well now I am older and have so many delights just sittin in my yard and watching nature.  A few weeks ago I counted 4 crows up in the sky, before long another 6 glided in, then 2 more.  They must have had a trade wind?  or something because they were all gliding and swooping up and down in the wind.  They very rarely had to flap their wings.  I thought “cool” they are just caught in a moment.  Well it was more like 15 or 20 minutes I watched them and I could tell it was a game with them.  Who would have thought?  They would change positions, fly in circles, and make formations.  They were like kids on a play ground cavorting with one another and enjoying the high flying obviously is.  Freedom..what a sensation!  I thought this might be a once in a life time spectacle, but just today there was a larger flock of them playing in the sky.  It made my day, and even though crows can be a pain in the tukus they make a beautiful picture in the sky. Look around I am sure you will find something to delight you also!
