“We are really just floating in space; we are constantly in motion even if we are at rest; and what if all this is was just something my brain was telling me was there, I than could maybe even be in a coma? Perhaps going to hell isn’t really going to hell, maybe the true hell is just living, and if you go to hell you are really just being put back onto the earth once again. Until, one day, you eventually make it to this paradise, heaven”. Those were a few things that I pondered through.

   For awhile, my brother and I were laying still on the bunk bed, my brain still moving frantically around, I got into a decently deep conversation with Josiah, I replied to his question with a knowledgeable response, then he responded with a  “I haven’t even been talking to you”; I burst into laughter. The shrooms had played a trick on me, this time they made me believe I was talking with someone, when really, I was talking to myself. I began to feel a tiny bit of a madman. “The mushrooms have driven me insane”, I had said at one point, because a colossal of things poured out of my mouth even before I could process what I was going to say, and I could not for the life of me play the guitar or sing, my mind was in full throttle.

   I would have to say, coming down off of shrooms is close to being even more rewarding than the trip altogether. A slight feeling of relief, going back to normal, able to let the batteries recharge and take what was learned. I learned some life lessons, I believe so, no matter the size, and also realizing many issues that added stress into my life, where none was needed. Coming down, close to completely off the “Zoomers”; the sound of my guitar had never sounded more clear nor more brilliant ever before.
