Also, bruce wayne is awesome. Millionaire, business man, philanthropist. Clarke kent however, is such a loser – crummy job, crummy pay… plus his disguise is just insulting to everyone who can’t figure out who he is. Not like his girlfriend could recognise oh say, his fae and voice? In a way it’s almost inconsiderate to anyone who is close to clark kent. Superman’s enemies would happily kidnap, torture or kill his loved ones and, fully aware of this, he goes to little or no effort to hide his true identity. Also, I once heard it phrased that Clark Kent is Superman’s commentary on the human race – is that how he sees us? Hopeless, weak, unambitious and insipid? Ouch, superman. Ouch.
