They stood underneath the billowing cherry blossoms, their hands clasped together, the pink petals raining down on them, fluttering so delicately. Mina looked around her in awe, completely enchanted. The delicate petals would twirl and swirl all-around them, dancing on air, floating daintily.

“Isn’t it beautiful Hwang?” she would ask, captivated. “It is just so wondrous, so magical.”

But Hwang only had eyes for her. His gaze was not on the floating cherry blossoms. His gaze was upon Mina, watching her look around in enchantment, mesmerizing him. The look of pure joy on her face touched him deeply. Her wonderment filled his soul, granting him happiness. All his worries and fears would simply float away, leaving only contentment.

Hwang’s eyes fell upon her small hand in his larger one, holding on, firmly secure in his. A myriad of emotions flooded him, overwhelming him. His heart would beat faster, his chest would heave. All he knew was her, her hand in his. He felt how soft her tiny hand was, so delicately dainty. He felt how tightly her hand would hold on to his, not wanting to let go. She never wanted to let go…

Mina turned her head toward his, a sweet smile on her lips. The world around them seem to fade, slowly fading away, leaving only them. Time stood still, frozen in this moment. Only their breaths can be heard…
