I’m JiHoo oppa’s errand girl, just great!
“Did you just ask me to stop?”
I really should try to stop saying my thoughts out loud. “No, no. Continue.”
“Anyway, I really need your help! You know I’m stuck here at work…” he continued. All I heard was blah…blah…blah…because my mind was wandering again.
Yeah, I couldn’t picture myself going out with him, and I was pretty sure that the feeling was mutual. He mentioned about how I look freakishly like his deceased younger sister. And dating a younger sister, and a deceased on at that, would be like a MAJOR sin, right?
Anyway, so where did we meet?
Hmmm…I can still vividly remember the first day I met him, I was still new in town and he was the first customer I delivered jjajamyun to his work place (his radio station). He was still talking on the microphone when he saw me; he wrote something on the paper and showed it to me – ‘BRING IT IN HERE.’
He didn’t even say the word “please”. But since I was the delivery girl I complied. Before I could close the door behind me he said, “Can you pass the bottled water?” The only consideration I had at that time was how sincere his smile was when he asked me that.
Now you know how our friendship started. Just like other relationships we have this give and take relationship, but unlike others–I always the giver and he’s the taker.
“My cousin will be coming from Seoul.” F.uck! I forgot (again) that he was still on the line. I hoped I didn’t miss anything important (unlikely). “This is where you come in.”
See what I mean? I think I know what he’s going to say next. Freak!
Wait. Cousin coming from Seoul? My brows furrowed.
“Can you fetch him for me?”
“No, bye!” I pressed the button off and shoved it in my bag. I mentally patted my head. That’s good, Sandara. He should know how to be said no to once in a while. Okay, hanging up is kinda rude, but in most situation he’s the guy that a simple slap won’t work, maybe a hard punch would make him get the idea. Idea that Sandara Park is not his errand girl.
