Mi-Na walked in the front hallway of the the Lost Cathedral, not knowing what to expect. Then she heard a familiar voice.
“Mi-Na!”
She turned around, her heart pounding. It was Hwang! He had followed her here.
“Please do not go in there! It is far too dangerous!” His expression was serious, his smoldering eyes filled with concern.
Mi-Na was touched. He had come all this way to protect her, to save her. Hwang was being so gallant. But she could not stop now. Soul Edge needed to be destroyed.
“I can not Hwang. Not after coming this far.” She turned to leave, but Hwang grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her around, placing his mouth on hers. Mi-Na’s eyes widen, feeling his tongue caress her inside her mouth. She felt how smooth his tongue was, how soft it felt. Her eyes close, moaning softly. He then released the kiss, gazing at her longingly.
“Please listen to me, just this once.” he pleaded, holding her face in his hands.
Mi-Na looked into his eyes, seeing only love. Oh how her heart ached for him! She touched his cheek with her hand, then let it trail down to his mouth. He kissed it.
“Please, Mi-Na… Please… ” Hwang whispered softly, kissing her fingers.
“Tell me how!” Mi-Na cried, tears falling down her face.
He kissed her tears away.
“Just trust me,” he whispered softly, looking intently in her eyes. “Please trust me.”
Mi-Na silently nodded, her eyes never leaving his. Hwang then lifted her into his arms, kissing her, carrying her away to a place where she will be safe.
