Prologue

            “Good evening sir, how may I help you?”

“Yes, good evening ma’am. I would like to speak to Sir Orrick please.”

“Very well. Please sit down and I shall have him come out promptly.” He does and sits in the corner, which I can plainly see out the window to my office. My assistant, Sayuri Hinatomi walks in and says, “Sir, someone is here to speak with you.”

“Ah, very good, I shall talk with him then.” I walk out to find my good friend and coworker, Michael Fontaine. “What is it? Something happen? I thought I sent you out on a mission.”

“Something is wrong in the balance of nature; I believe that it is time.” I look at him with suspicion. “We must hurry or it could be too late.”

“You do not mean…”

“Yes, Orrick. I do mean.”

“Then we must make haste. Sayuri, please tend to all matters, you are now their leader.”

She stands and bows, “Yes sir, but wait, I…” It was too late, we had already run out of the office areas and into the nearby town, Payon. This is where out team is stationed. I do round them up quickly, and we continue on to the Forbidden Tower. When we arrive, the door has been busted open, from what I assume was the last resistance team to attempt to conquer the tower and defeat its master.

“And you are sure of this Michael?”

“Of course, why would I lie to you?” I believe him, since we are truthful towards each other. We ascend all 12 floors, encountering few, if not any monsters. They all scurried away quickly, though. On the final floor, the exit is covered in a sea of monsters. Accompanying me are an alchemist, priest, hunter, crusader, and a gunslinger. I am a monk, so I delve straight into the fight. We handle the swarm with some ease, though our priest, Alexander Von Sieger was wounded.

“Alexander, can you continue.” I care for my allies like they were my own life, though I put no concern to my own.

 “Yes, I shall be fine.
 We ascend to the top and find the fragmented memory of the Black Knight sitting on his throne located in the center.
