A serial novel of rather dystopic science fiction.

Michael Clayton (or ‘Clayton’) as every one called him boarded a rusty bronze low atmosphere transport shuttle headed for his home town. He met the middle aged pilot who time forgot. Clayton paid a few bronze coins and took his seat, he then drifted into a deep sleep.
*************
‘Hey buddy your stop is up.’ The pilot punched Clayton in the shoulder.
‘Sorry.’ Clayton gave his usual fake smile. Stood up to his more than six foot frame and gently walked out of the shuttle. He saw the custom ship he was paying for with all his hard work parked next to the small stone and wood house. Bangs and shouting could be heard as the engineer he hired Fred Baxter cussed at the tools.
‘Fred I thought I told you to mind your language around my children.’
‘Sorry Clayton but this darned sonic welder just wont weld right.’ The heavy southern accent seemed to be rather frustrated.
‘Hey dad.’ A young teen male popped his head out of the ship’s cabin window; this ship that was supposed to take them light years through space looked like a put up junk yard of bronze.
The teen was sixteen to be exact, tall like his father but slender and when he stood he slouched. His ear long hair was sandy brown just like Clayton’s. But his eyes were green. He wore an old green t-shirt and old blue jeans and boots. The young teen had tools also, he was assisting Fred. A floating glass pane was also present, green glass. This was an old model of an advanced A.I. But this floating A.I was at least ten years old way out of date but still capable for the task.
Kenneth Clayton also known as Ken. INTP genius level and very good with physics Clayton by contrast was more hands-on, an ISTP with a very different kind of genius, although his biases and those of his society prevented him and almost everyone else from seeing that side of himself.
