The article describes how Michael Jackson’s death is silmlar to Elvis Presleys.
With all the hype surrounding Michael Jackson’s death it is easy to take the news for granted that the (so called) king of pop is indeed dead. There is little evidence to suggest Michael Jackson is dead leading many in the media to question whether he is avoiding public scrutiny in the vain attempt to lead something like a normal life.
History may will repeat itself as reports of alleged sightings of the singer become common just as they are for Elvis Presley. There is still speculation to this day that the 1950s king of Rock and Roll is still alive and living a quiet life away from media scrutiny. Nobody wanted to believe that Elvis Presley was dead just as few people wish to believe that Michael Jackson is dead. Both men were raised to god-like status as their fans convinced themselves of both performers immortality.
Generations of fans may imitate Michael Jackson’s speech, accent, dance style, dress, and mannerisms in respect and reverence of the man whose music touched millions of people world wide. Events may also be held to honour him just as they are held in the United States to honour Elvis Presley. As stated in a previous article I am not, and have never been a fan, of Michael Jackson’s yet I can see that history will probably repeat itself as the world reveres its pop and rock stars fans will genuinely mourn Michael Jackson’s death just as they mourned Elvis Presley’s.
Nobody wants to believe the celebrities of their era die as everyone else does. In Conclusion there is little direct evidence to suggest that Michael Jackson is is dead and for this reason alone history has repeated itself. History has repeated itself because Michael Jackson is another of the many celebrities who has died and another some fans refuse to believe is dead.
