A short story rewritten from the original by The Brothers Grimm.
Once upon a time, far far away, there lived a stunningly gorgeous girl named Snow White. Since her parents perished in a devastating accident, she lived with her aunt and uncle. One day, the aunt and uncle decided to abandon Snow White so they could continue to prosper without the burden of a child; upon hearing this conversation, Snow White ran away with tears in her eyes. She ran to the nearest forest, and there she found a cottage. Since it was late at night, she knocked on the door, but there was no answer. She decided to let herself in, and fell asleep at the foot of the front door.
The next morning, Snow White awoke to the sight of seven dwarves staring quizzically at her. She jumped in astonishment. “What is your name?” one of the grumpier dwarves exclaimed. Scared, she replied, “s-s-snow white sir.” After one of the kinder dwarves comforted her, Snow White explained her situation, and why she was there at the doorstep. “We would love to have your company!” one of the dwarves shouted. Meanwhile, the evil witch in the near cottage asked her magic mirror, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” The mirror replied,” Why, you are master.” The days went on, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves continued improving the forest by planting new grass and other types of plants. And each of these days, the witch asked the same question, and always received the same answer.
One day, while Snow White and the dwarves were out improving the forest, the same Witch asked the same question, but this time, the answer was not what she was expecting. The witch decided to take care of this problem, so she could resume her right as the fairest of them all. She crafted a poison apple, and since she was in the culinary academy, decided to create a concoction she calls “peanut butter”. It was the perfect mix of creamy soft butter, and crunchy roasted peanuts. She paired it with the poison apple for a taste, and set it inside the cottage of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
