Patrick has to wake up Spongebob.
Squidward stood at the register of the Krusty Krab staring into blank space with a frown. There weren’t any customers because the doors hadn’t been unlocked yet. There was still 11 minutes until the Krusty Krab opened to the public. He looked at his watch and scoffed. “Spongebob is 15 minutes late,” he grumbled. “There’s a first for everything, I guess.”
Mr. Krabs pranced out of his office singing, “Money, money, money, money…MONEY!”
He said hello to Squidward and made his way to the kitchen. He opened the door and expected Spongebob to already have 20 or so Krabby Patties already made.
“Good morning, Sponge…bob?” He trailed off as Spongebob was nowhere to be found. Mr. Krabs became very angry at the sight of a missing employee and out of anger yelled, “SPONGEBOB!”
Squidward poked his head through the hole in the wall and stated, “He’s 15 minutes late, Mr. Krabs. I think you should fire him.”
Mr. Krabs shook his head. “No, I’ll just call him and see what’s holding him up. It better be a good reason or else I’m going to fry his patties!” Mr. Krabs picked up the phone and called Spongebob’s house and didn’t get an answer. He slammed the phone down and sighed.
“Now what?” he asked Squidward.
“Call Patrick and tell him to go over there and see what Spongebob could possibly be doing,” Squidward suggested.
Mr. Krabs agreed and called Patrick. Patrick picked up the phone and began ordering a pizza with extra pepperoni. “No, Patrick! This is Mr. Krabs.”
“Oh, hi, Mr. Krabs!” Patrick exclaimed. “I want a double Krabby Patty with lots of onions…”
“Patrick!” Mr. Krabs stopped him. “I need you to go over to Spongebob’s house and see if he’s there.”
“Ok!” Patrick said as he dropped the phone and ran as fast as he could over to Spongebob’s house. He ripped though his house like it was going out of fashion and there was no tomorrow. He frantically looked under everything yelling “Spongebob?!”
Gary sat and watched Patrick tear up the house looking for Spongebob. Gary finally meowed at Patrick.
“Huh?” Patrick stopped pulling things out of the refrigerator and looked at Gary. “Gary! What is it boy? Is Spongebob stuck in a well?”
