Darth Darkblade vs. Darth Phobos.

We’re losing power, reserve tanks empty, if we’re going to survive, WE NEED TO LAND NOW!”

I walked up to my pilot, Ric Olié, who was messing up the controls again.  “Why don’t you try there,” I said, pointing to a green planet.

“Endor,” Ric said, “it’s a completely  forested planet, and the readouts detect small life-forms.  Oh, look, a village.”

“Land in that valley,” I said, pointing.

These Ewoks are so stubborn, I thought, They won’t take Republic credits and they’re trying to get me to work to pay for these parts that I need.

I thought about using a mind trick on the trader, but the rest of  the Ewoks would know something happened.

     “Master Darkblade, master Darkblade!”

“Ric, you’re supposed to be on the ship.”

“I’ve found an arena, just two miles due north from the ship.”

     “Well then, let’s go!”

When we arrived  at  the Endor arena, I was paired to fight Darth Phobos.  Ironic seeing a Sith here, but then again, that doesn’t matter.

When I was called out  to fight, I felt a great disturbance in the Force.  I examined the Sith, she was about 5′7″ with a double-sided lightsaber, it appeared that most of her strength was in her left arm, so I would target right more than left.  Her skin was havasu blue, and her hair was sticking up in spikes of dark blue.

The referee, a tall Neimoidian, stepped onto the field with a purple lightsaber in his hands.  Probably for protection.

He raised it up and drove it through the translucent wall separating Darth Phobos and I, and the fight began.

I blocked her first swing and parried the second, my two orange lightsabers were not about to fail me.

Two more blocks and I jumped ten feet of the ground, coming down with a maelstrom of orange.  I leaped again and threw my lightsabers at her, using the force to bring them back to me.

I blocked  six more blows from her, and struck her three times.

Her lightsaber came swinging around.  I whirled myself away.

     Too late.

She had pierced through my chest and straight into my lungs.  The referee stopped the fight and congratulated Phobos, handing  her 500 coins that could be used on any planet.

I lay on the ground, gasping for breath, when I saw a flicker of red from the corner of my eye.  I looked up and there was Phobos, grinning at her victory.  She lifted up her weapon and brought it down through my skull.

I wish I could tell you more, but  sadly, this is where the story ends.
