Mi-Na’s secret hideaway.
“Show me where you run to, my sweet Mi-Na.”
Mi-Na gazes up at Hwang, her eyes blinking uncomprehendingly, lost in the warmth of his embrace.
“Where do you run to, my Mi-Na, when you feel all alone?”
She smiles radiantly at him, her dark eyes sparkling.
“I run to you, my noble Seong-Gyeong.”
Hwang places a hand on her face, his expression so full of affection. He leans in, his lips brushing softly against her cheek.
“Show me, my Mi-Na,” he whispers. “Show me where you run to. Take me there.”

Mi-Na sweetly sighs, taking his hand, guiding him up a walkway, as a gentle breeze blows. They walk for several minutes, passing several peach trees and roses of Sharon. A pair of sparrows flutter on by, frolicking in the sky. They eventually stop in front of a pavilion facing a pond, hidden deep within the garden.
Mi-Na looks up at Hwang, a mischievous glint in her eyes. She grabs his face, giving him a passionate, soul-scorching kiss. She then breaks the kiss, quickly entering the pavilion, leaving Hwang utterly spellbound. He follows after her, slowly entering, closing the door behind him.

His eyes fall upon Mi-Na, lying on the pavillion floor, looking expectantly up at him, the bodice of her sok chima peeking underneath her sheer jeogori. She gasps, as he gently lowers himself upon her, taking her mouth, taking her very breath…
