Broly was born with a power of 10,000.

Not much, you say.

But did you know that most Saiyans’ power levels never reach 10,000?

As a baby, Broly and Goku often slept together. Goku was born with a power level of 2. Goku always cried, keeping Broly up late in the night. Broly was mentally disturbed and forged a vendetta against Goku. 

Later, Goku was sent to Earth, and Broly became older. He sometimes went crazy, so his father had to use a mind control object to keep him sane. 

The Saiyan king declared that although Broly may be a great asset, he might as easily turn around and destroy the Saiyans. They stuck a knife into Broly’s stomach, shot his father with an energy ball, and threw them into a pit.

Before the two Saiyans died, Freeza came along… and destroyed the planet. Broly still had some energy, so he made a force field. He and his dad boarded a spaceship and started taking over and destroying other planets.

One day while Goku and Gohan were taking an interview for Gohan’s school, they were alerted by a friend that a Saiyan was destroying planets. Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Trunks went to fight this Saiyan.

As soon as Broly saw Goku, he went crazy. Broly broke free of the mind control and went Super Saiyan. He easily defeated everyone. Even as Super Saiyan, with the power of his friends, Goku had no chance. Finally, Vegeta swallowed his pride and gave Goku all his remaining energy.

In my opinion, Goku’s defeating of Broly was cheesy. He delivered one punch to Broly’s stomach (if you were reading carefully you would know what will happen.) and defeated Broly.

In my opinion, Broly was WAY too strong… they should have made Broly defeat the group and leave.

Then another movie…
