“I think you should change your ringtone for my calls. One of us has to. They will suspect if they heard we both have the same ringtone.” Dara said as they drive back to their apartment.

“Ok.” GD thought better than to argue. He took out his cellphone and handed it to Dara. “Choose one for me.”

“Hmm..mmm…Hehe..How about In Or Out? Do you have it?”

“Haha! I do, actually!”

“Hehe! I was just kidding!”

“It’s ok.” GD said in a straight face.

“Really? Won’t you be embarrassed?”

“No.”

“You_ are_so_gay.”

“What?”

“Hahaha! Just kidding… But people will think you are so ill spare you from that… ah, perfect, Hello.” Dara beamed as she chose and pressed on Hello.

“Hello sexy guy, hello handsome boy Hello hello” she sang as she tinkered on GD’s phone. “Uh, is it ok if I?” She asked when she remembered.

“Sure. But I warn you, some sexy girls pix there.” GD had a naughty grin on his face.

“I’m sure there are, perv.”

“Haha! If I am it’s entirely your fault.”

“Hah! Great, you blame me.”

“I cant breathe I cant breathe.” GD started singing.

“Oh my god. Not that song.”

“I can’t deny goyohi jamdeun bam Ni soge natananeun Neomuna areumdawo wow,” He continued to sing, teasing her, while Dara could only laugh and hide her face with her hands.

“Stop it.” Dara screamed and gave him a serious look. “I hate you.”

 “Haha! What did I do?”

“Just stop it.” She was already turning red. Damn it. Damn that song.

“What?”

“Hmph, here.” She said as she handed his phone back. “Now will you please…enough with the song.”

But GD grabbed her hand, “Baby, come here and kiss me.”

He slowed down and pulled the car.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

“I am going to make love to you right here.”

“No… we are not doing it here.”

“ Where?” GD leaned close to her. “Tell me where.”

“Not…” Dara didn’t finish. GD’s mouth were already on hers, Kissing her with much intense. Dara kissed back with equal fervor.

They both stopped if only to catch their breathing and see the desire in both of their eyes. GD left hand found its way inside Dara’s shirt while the other was pressed firmly on her seat supporting his weight.

“Ahhh!” GD let out a frustrated whimper as Dara pushed him away and groped her pockets for her phone. “Do you have to answer that?”

“Wait, let me just check, k?” she answered, equally bothered.

“Baby, it’s umma. I have to.” She said apologetically.

“Hello, umma!”

GD could only watch as Dara cheerfully talked with her mother on the phone.

Knowing how long the mother and daughter chat, he was sure he had lost his chance.

GD slumped in his seat. Maybe this chat will be short. Maybe her mother just wanted to say hi. Maybe…

“Umma, hold on a minute please.”  He heard Dara say. When he turned to her she was already leaning and giving him a kiss.

“Ya, Dara, where have you been?” asked Bom as she gets inside their living room.

“Where’s Chaerin?” asked Dara.

“Ya, I’m talking to you.” Demanded Bom.

“I love you too, Bommie.” Said Dara, smiling ever so sweetly to her Park sister, sitting adorable in front of the tv.

“What’s gone into you? Date with Young bae? Keke.”

“What date?” Chaerin’s voice came out of the living room.

“Chaerin!” Dara ran towards the girl, gave her a hug, and then pulled the girl outside, much to the leader’s irritation.

“Hey, what’s gotten into you?”

“Chaerin, Jiyong told me.”

CL knew at once what she meant and the girl heaved a huge sigh of relief.

“Oh my ghad! Whew!” She said while wiping her brow. “So you’ve finally resolved your fight? Oh, thank you god. I can now move on with my life!”

“Huh? What are you saying?”

“What am I saying? So he didn’t tell you everything? He didn’t tell you how I lose sleep these past nights because he keeps bugging me about it? Texting ‘CL please help me, how is Dara? Does she still hate me? What should I do. I need to talk to her. I’m going crazy here’ Gaaahhhd!”

“Haha! Really?” Dara asked excitedly.

“Hmph, of course you find it amusing, but… do you see these eye bags. It’s not obvious, but really, unnie.” She says while giving off a yawn.

 “But I thought you were writing your lyrics.”

“Unnie, it doesn’t take me all night to write lyrics…”

“Ah.. of course… well, thank you, Chaerin! Thanks!!!”

“No problem. But I hope that’s the end of it.”

“We’ll try. Hehe.”

 “Hey, unnie, what’s this date with Young Bae oppa?”

“Oh, nothing, Bom’s got GD and YB confused. He really suspects GD and I have something, but I try to veer her away. It’s fun. Keke.”

“Oh Kay… I hope Jiyong oppa won’t have this crazy idea of having me spy again. Arghh!!!”

“What are you saying?”

“Hah! So he also left out that little detail about Lee Min Ho? The little detail that got you all thinking that I like the guy a lot? Grrrr!”

“Huh? So… So you really don’t? So all the questioning about him…And wanting to see him…”

“Yes Yes and hell yes!”

 “Haha! Ok, I get the idea. So I was wrong all along. Ah, that’s so funny! You know what I thought? I thought you were so smitten that all you could do was smile and pretend you were busy texting someone. Hah! So you were texting GD? Haha! You did good, I really thought you’d gone crazy!!! But hey, you didn’t have to. You should’ve just said no, you know. You’re such an obedient dongsaeng.”

“Me say no? And who’ll do it for him, huh? Actually, we played a game. Rock paper scissors. He won so I had to do it. But really, d’you think  he’ll stop bugging me if he doesn’t get what he wants. Apparently you’re the only who can say no to him.”

“Haha! That’s not true.”

“Whatever. Just enough of this, k? if you have a fight, keep it short, just like that other Sunday.”

“You knew about that too?”

“The privilege AND curse of being the only one who knows.” She rolled her eyes.

“Actually,” CL continued, “I asked him about it, coz u know, I was surprise about you being hesitant about attending his party. Why so sudden. So he told me you had sort of misunderstanding and he asked me to give you guys time to talk. Remember how I kept on asking Bommie and Minji to come with me to the ladies room saying I needed help with some wardrobe emergency. Gosh, the things I have to come up. But apparently you guys sort it out before we even arrived.”

“Chaerin-roo thanks a lot! A lot lot lot! I love you Chae-rin-roo.” Dara gave her a tight hug.

“Ya, right. You’re happy now. Let me just remind you who suffered while you slept like a baby! Hmph!”

“Hahaha! Hey, not my fault! I was tired and exhausted! But you didn’t tell him about that, did you?” Dara held CL on the arms with both of her hands.

“No, of course not.”

“Thanks! I owe you.”

“Don’t mention it. Oppa took care of that. Hehe.”

“Ah, of course. I should’ve thought of that. So, what do you get in return?”

“It’s a secret.”

“Cmon, what is it?”

“Secret!”

“Haha! Cmon!” Dara grabbed CL but CL freed herself from her grasp, stuck out her tongue playfully before heading for the door.

 “Chaerin, wait! He told me that you confronted him? How did you know?”

The girl stopped. “Unnie, do you have to ask? It was pretty obvious. Just the way he looks at you, the way he acts… you know.”

“No… I mean… tell me. Please, I want to know what you think.”

“Well, for one, with us, even with the boys, Big bang leader aside, Jiyong oppa acts like a kid. You know, he goofs around, gets really dorky, teases us endlessly, just because he gets away with it. Hehe.”

“Hey, he teases me too!”

“Maybe. Like once, then he starts to blush. He really doesn’t push it.”

“Yes, he does!”

“Yeah? Well, maybe not in front of us coz I didn’t notice.”

Dara blushed but she wasn’t about to let up. “Oh, you should’ve seen him when he used to tease me with In or Out! He’d sing with this high-pitched girl’s voice!”

“Well, unnie, I would’ve paid to witness that from oppa but as I see it, he may have made fun of you but it was at his own expense. Singing in high pitched-voice, why would he do that? Obviously, to get your attention. Duh.”

CL rolled her eyes.

“You wanna know the obvious difference between you and the rest of us? Jiyong oppa is a bully to us – Seungri, Minzy, Bom noona, and me. Of course, he can’t do that to me now. Hehe. But was he ever to you? NO.”

Dara blushed even more. CL’s right, and she knows it.

“Did you know Young Bae wanted Dara for his leading lady for Wedding Dress MV?”

It was Pres. YG asking GD. GD visited him in his office to ask about the possibility of performing Hello for the Global Gathering event next Saturday evening. Just another one of his brilliant ideas to be around his girl and show her just how much he loves her, thank you very much.

“Uh… no… “ GD answered. He was stumped.

“He did. I’m telling you this coz I wanna know what you think about it. What do you think?”

GD was mum for a moment. He wasn’t sure which surprised him more, Young Bae ACTUALLY asking for Dara or YG asking him his opinion.

“There are other girls.”

“Ha, funny.” YG gave a snort of a laugh. “That’s exactly what I told you when you asked me about having Dara for Hello. Do you remember your answer to me?”

“I said that she’d be perfect…”

“Yes, and that you wouldn’t have anyone else. And you were right, she was perfect for Hello.”

He paused. “Young Bae answered the same thing – that she would be perfect. Isn’t that something?”

GD could only nod. Sure is.

“I don’t know what it is exactly in her. It’s probably the reason that got me to finally consider her for 2NE1, but I still can’t really point a finger to it. Can you?”

Still no answer.

“It’s amazing, she’s had kissing scenes with three really popular men, had her past sexy pictures revealed, she’s definitely not the most talented, but people still adore her. I’m almost tempted to say yes to all the offers and calls I get for her to star opposite these different guys just to see where her charms could get her!”

YG paused yet again, weighing his options as if the issue has only been brought up to him that moment.

“But of course, I won’t. Not yet anyway. She needs more training, more than the rest of the girls.”

GD just continued to listen.

“I have thought about it and I can’t really allow her for Young Bae’s vid. There is such a thing as too much for her for now, and there really are other girls. But for Hello, I actually saw this coming. It is well-received, which surprises me really, but I shouldn’t be complaining? Right?” He was smiling now. “So, ok.”

“Uh…” GD was a little stunned it was that easy. He was actually prepared to go to war for this Hello cause.

“Thanks!” He said as he bowed to the president and left.

“Ji?”

“Yeah?”

“Restrain yourself.”

GD blushed, bowed yet again, and closed the door behind him. The moment it clicked he was already jumping on his feet and pumping his fist. Yes! And now to surprise Dara!

He was very excited to tell her about the news and thought he should find her at Teddy’s recording studio. He looked around, saw no one but Young Bae. His song filled the room.

But GD didn’t notice, his mind had no room for any other thought but getting to Dara.

“So you won another Musicbank again last night? Congrats bro.”

“Ah, yeah!” he simply smiled. He really needed to go now.

He was about to close the door when the sound of wedding march on piano played. It found a crack and seeped through his wheres-Dara-gotta-find-Dara-now!-filled head.

“Uh, sounds good.” He was bobbing his head as he listened. “Really.”

“Um, thanks. This is Wedding Dress. My second single.”

“Ah. I like it.” He said, nodding once more before closing the door.

He took out his cellphone.

 “Hello?”

“Baby. where are you? Can I see you?”
”Right now?”
”Yes, it’ll be quick.”

“Ok. Where?”

“Rooftop?”

“Ok. See you.”

Young Bae’s song crept its way back to him.

He really liked it.

Liked it a lot, it somehow felt like déjà vu, like Look Only At Me once again.

Once again, he wished he’d written and composed it.

Written and composed it for Dara.

He remembered her looking so happy and proud whenever she talked about her CASS CF and Kiss project. He imagined the same look if she should make it for YB’s MV. She should get this one and besides, YB’s right, Dara is perfect, he thought.

Dara’s words rang in his head. Yeah, Ji, what’s wrong with you, you’d trust this guy your life but you can’t trust him your woman?

He smiled and composed a quick text.

GD: Baby, I’ll just be at pres YG’s office. Wont take long. Wait for me, ok?

“Come in” YG summoned when he heard the knock on the door. “Ji, what now?”

“Uh, I just heard Young Bae’s song… I think you should give him Dara. He’s right., she’d be perfect for the MV.”

“Of course, she is. But it’s still a no. She just did Kiss and Cass and she’ll be performing Hello, and also, she’ll be at Family Outing. I already said yes to that. So, you see, I just can’t. You didn’t tell him yet, did you?”

“No.”

“I can’t tell him yet. I have to have a replacement when I do. I’m actually going to meet an agent later to scout for talents. If we had to ask every girl in Korea to wear a wedding dress, we will. Anything else?”

“Ah, no.”  GD answered and left.

Dara stooped low against the wall as soon as she heard footsteps. Suppressing a laugh, she got set to jump on GD once he sets his foot on the floor.

“WAH!” she screamed and made claws and threw herself in front of him.

He almost tripped on his toes in fright but his reflex was fortunately quick enough to catch her.

“Haha! I got you!” she laughed while burying her face in his chest.

“Dara!?”

Dara was certain that wasn’t GD’s voice.

And these are definitely stronger hands…

“Omo…” Dara clapped her hands on her mouth as her eyes traced from chest upward to his face.
