I all ways consider my self as dam old lady. However when I go to do my shopping in any branded mall ,  it makes me wonder. Because if I buy one croissant for $1.99 and I pay $5 note then I get change back $3. my question is ,why they give me only $3 why not $3.01.

Than I try calculate which is simple………………….

Hundred customer in a day (assuming) so 100×00.01=$1 that’s in a year they ( shops) are having $365 just from only croissant,

I could not dare to  calculation for other product.

My question by which logic all this shop keeping all this .01 cent???????? Why they are not displaying $2 rather than $1.99 to avoid creating doubted in our mind.

If any one have answer of it, can you please answer me
