A snapshot of a girl after 28 years.
I have blown out the candles on my cake 28 times. I am wise enough to know there is much more for me to see and know. I am not quite accomplished, but I’ve accomplished more than many. I am viewed as in-between, I believe; perceived as old by the young and young by the old. I cry during movies when I used to not care, yet I’m much stronger than I was 10 years ago. I dress four bodies in the morning now, instead of just one. I have fewer friends, but much better friendships. I used to keep my beliefs a secret and now I’m not scared to share or defend them. I have a thirst for the world and not for the mall. I know what I’ve seen is a small snapshot of this world, but it has opened my mind to experience more. Now I see both sides, instead of just one because I’ve been on each before. This is me, in a nutshell. I’m 28 years old.
