My legs feel funny.
For those who didn’t read my earlier post, I got into bed at 10 o’clock yesterday morning, and have only left it for one bathroom break and one drink since. And I hurried back.
The time’s flown by: I watched Torchwood: Children of Earth in one sitting last night and five hours felt like about two. I wish I had more boxsets in my uni room – they’re all at home, and I’ve watched pretty much everything I want to watch on SeeSaw.
I slept from 4am until 4pm, tried in vain to get a stream of the rugby (99% likely I could just watch it on the BBC website but knowing my luck I’d be in the 1% that gets busted for not having a TV license) then thought “fuck it” and loaded up Football Manager, which I’ve now spent about eleven days of my life on since its release in November.
I thought I’d be a lot hungrier than this. This, I suppose, is a good thing: I’m severely overdrawn and still have a £200 deposit to put down on a house so I’ve really gotta save the pennies. Unless, of course, everybody reading this sends the link to two hundred friends, and each friend sends it to two hundred of their friends, and so on, and so on…oh go on. Don’t be selfish. I’m a man doing a 70-hour bed marathon for no good reason: I could use the cash.
Any truth to these whisperings that purpleslinky is a better site to get your stuff posted on than authspot? It’s a lot prettier, I’ll give it that. It looks a lot less like an artsy fartsy writing site. Opinions?
Joe
