My fictional story of my life through 9/11.

As I finished talking with my third client that day (A man named Stanley Rodgers) I decided to take a five minute coffee brake. I worked as an investor for Euro Brokers, Inc. A company on the 12th floor of the South tower of the World Trade Center.

I walked out of my office and into the break room. As I went over to the coffee pot I heard the air strike siren ring.

I rushed out of the break room to find chaos. Everyone was running around to try and find the nearest exit. I dashed over to the window and look out to see if I could jump down.

My head started to get woozy just at the sight of the 12 story drop.

Darn the sleek look of the building. Darn the fact that all the fire escapes were on the inside. As I ran to find the nearest stairwell one more thought popped into my head. Darn the fact that I was going to die.

As I ran to the stairs I tripped over countless objects. Chairs, Tables and even unconscious people lay scatted across the ground making my escape so much more difficult.

I jumped over a table and grabbed the door to the stairwell. I had opened it and was about to start my decent when somebody ran into me and knocked me down the stairs.

At the landing I managed to stop rolling and looked at the person who had dived into me. I was shocked to see that it was Stanley Rodgers my client. I helped him up and we began to run down the stairs. At the bottom the door was jammed. We both pushed as hard as we could to open the door but it was more stubborn than we were persistent. I slumped to the floor and accepted the death that was sure to come. Stanley gave the door one last shove and collapsed beside me. We were both panting loudly from the physical exertion we had just experienced. I heard a sudden knocking on the door from the other side and somebody yelled to us to keep on pushing. We both slowly got up and pushed on the door while the person on the other side pulled the jammed door open. Finally the door sprung open as I collapsed on the soft grass outside the trade center. I got up and began to run from the trade center to find shelter from the air strike.

I had just gotten out of harms way when from out of nowhere a plane hit one of the towers of the trade center. I watched at the building began to fall before me before I passed out.

I woke up hours later in the hospital and was miraculously unharmed. I then realized what I had lived through.
