A journey of a dreamer who may have not get everything she wished but indebted enough with what life has offered her….

Do you still remember the night you sat by the window as you looked up above the sky and waiting for some shooting stars? You were dreaming then for some miracles to happen. You can’t take off your eyes from the direction of the moon because you were so anxious that maybe a single wink would cause you to miss the sight of a shooting star. Children your age believed that wishes do come true once you swear it on a comet-like heavenly body. You spent your childhood nights waiting for your wishes to turn into reality but they didn’t. There must be another way to make it all happen and so you started to do things on your own. How far have you gone now? From dreaming, you strived to realize each and every bit of your aspirations. You did your best actually and as a reward you are now reaping what you’ve planted.
In that long process, we will surely come across so many things and people, new faces, principles, ideologies, events and a whole lot more. We’ve shared laughter with friends, tears with loved-ones and hatred with enemies. We may argue over petty things with our colleagues or friends but at the end of the day, a single smile would root out the pain. How many times did we feel empty and alone? Forgotten and forsaken? Criticized for our failures? Neglected and rejected? We were loved at times but only to be betrayed in the end.
On that other side of the bridge, awaits another side of the story. How many instances where we blessed? Being loved and cared by people who show affection and concern. How many times were we saved from jeopardy? Applauded for our success and being thanked by strangers for the small good things we’ve done and commented? The air that sustained our breath, the sun that keeps us warm, the night that shelter us from the day, the food that nourished our health, these are only few of those worth thanking for.
You may not be as successful as others are, but true wealth is not on what you’ve possessed literally. It’s on how you spend your years on earth while realizing your dreams. How far did your dreams take you? Did you become a better man because of your dreams or did your dreams become better because of you? Dream. Dream big. But dream with faith. If your dreams are not yet unfolding, wait, it will soon come. Maybe not now and maybe not tomorrow. But you still have to have patience and faith for nothin’gs gonna happen if it’s not meant to.
While on your road to success, you will meet people who will help you to become better and behind you are those people who wished no more for you but only the best. They are those who believed in you most. Thank them and above all thank the One, The Almighty.
