This site has its ups and downs. But yet keeps me interested.

I have been here for almost 6 months, taking in everything before writing this article.

There are some sweet people here, TOPELECTRIAN is most defiantly one of my better friends on here. Although I can’t really say I have too many friends on here. The pay at first was disappointing I made 1 cent that first day, then started making articles more appealing to a wider audience. Now I make close to a dollar a day, and I am always striving for more.

The forums is one thing I do when I am bored, and seriously no offense to anyone who may read this that is a hardcore forum-er you guys should have your very own soap opera. I try and understand what is going on but it is just too hard. The forums are also a chaotic mess. There are too little amounts of topics where you choose where to put you new thread, and really quite frankly it seems like those topics are totally blown off by most people. Now I have heard some people talk about having moderators browsing the forums, deleting spam etc. I think that would be a bad idea unless someone is very willing to accept that job. Which because we are here to be authors not babysitters the odds of finding someone would be slim, and I for one would not be one.

I like the idea of having different sites to post your things on, but yet there is some of it I am still trying to figure out. Stumbleupon is the most odd thing I have ever seen. One of my articles got published and I submitted it to stumbleupon just like everyone I do, I went back to submit a new article and that article was already number one with 20 views. I type my new article out and then I notice that article bounced to 230+ views. And since then it probably has gotten maybe 10 views.

Overall this site is very good, it helps your writing ability and maybe make some new friends.

I’ve had the same experience with StumbleUpon. Wish I could figure out how to get that 200+ views every day on every article I stumble. Good work.

The forum here is a mess, too many people try to hijack it for their own promotions and pretend they are not doing that.

Stumbleupon is a mystery to me too but one worth solving. One of my articles has done well over 10,000 views there.

Nice article, I have been with Triond about 3 months now, and like you said, very slow to bring in income, I heard about stumble upon and just started that up and also was informed of acouple other sites where you random hit clicks with your computer, still learning about that… lol, Hope to see ya around with more articles soon :)
