Most Olympians in Beijing Olympics 2008 are highly dedicated individuals. But, what is it that motivates such dedication? Is it money, recognition, challenge, or personal growth?

As I discovered, I also have motivators like the Olympians of Beijing Olympics 2008. I also wanted to reach the top. In my current job, I would like more recognition for the work I do. When going for promotion, I would negation for inclusion in more teams. I would quit my job if it was a job that people looked down on.

I would perform my job better if I had greater feedback on my performances. My morale would suffer at work if my goals and objectives were not met, and communication channels were poor. Therefore, I prefer work that involves teamwork.

I would work overtime if there is a higher chance of promotion. The job situation that would cause the most stress for me is having conflict with my co-workers and not being appreciated for my work. I am satisfied in my work if I have flexible working conditions. I look forward to going to work each day because of the sense of personal growth I feel.

As I conclude, I am more of an achiever and relational employee. I have a high need for achievement and a high social need. I aim for clear feedback on my working performance and strive for cooperative situation. I enjoy to set challenging goals as I enjoy camaraderie and team spirit.

In addition, I have a little need for power and a little desire to be influential. I also have a little need for achieving self-fulfillment. I do not aim for positions that have lots of authority or to be in high status. I also do not aim for creative and challenging work, autonomy, and flexible working condition.
