In celebration of Thanksgiving Day, allow me to pay a humble tribute to the Triond friends I have acquired over the four months that I’ve been here.
A few months ago, I stumbled upon Triond but was hesitant to join at first as I was already writing for Helium then. It took me about a month to finally register, and about another month to submit my first article, Filipino Workers Wanted Globally.
However, just like with Helium where I did not let my presence felt, I also never bothered at first about reading other articles on Triond or making friends with other users. It took a message from a fellow user for me to realize that Triond offers not just a wonderful opportunity of publishing my works but also of connecting with fellow writers and forming a network of supportive friends.
So, in celebration of Thanksgiving Day, allow me to pay a humble tribute to the Triond friends I have acquired over the 4 months that I’ve been here.
Thank you for finding me and for being my first ever friend on Triond. Your messages and comments have been highly appreciated.
The first ever hot user I made contact with who answered me and added herself as my fan, I was so flattered. I’m still very grateful for your encouraging comment on my daughter’s poem. Your comments have been truly valuable.
I always look forward to your heartfelt comments from the moment you took time to leave a feedback on my poem, The Essence of Life. I couldn’t find you at first as I was looking for mdegenhardt in my search. Thank you very much for continuing to read and comment on my pieces.
Your rhyming poetry has encouraged me to try this form myself. For your wonderful comments on my pieces both here and on AC, please accept my sincerest gratitude, my friend.
