My reflections.

Change.

Change, change that we see everywhere. In everything, always, never ending change. Change, the wheels of the entire universe.

Change, the measuring standards for time and space. Change that is permanent. Change that is irreversible in the realm of elapsed time. Change that is unstoppable. Unchangeable change.

So what is always stable and reliable. Again – change.

So what is change?

Change can be the difference between two states of  existence in two unique moments in the realm of time as we have defined it.

What is existence – our comprehension of all that exists, or interpretations of electrical signals, by the brain, caused by chemical changes that occur in response to stimuli.

So how does change occur. Change is simply the quest for stability.

How do we say that change has occurred? By perceiving two unique configurations or dimensions of any conceivable concept in two unique moments in the realm of time, as we have conceived it over the ages, defined and given it a form that can be comprehended by us, and that we use as a standard today.

How can we classify these concepts as unique if there are variations in their uniqueness across two unique moments. Fundamentally, then, there is absolutely nothing that can be called unique, because there is no universally established standard that can evaluate their uniqueness, rather, it is only a form or structure that has been given by us for better understanding.

So if there is nothing that is unique, then how do we perceive change?

By the simple logic that everything that has been identified, discovered, invented, conceptualised, implemented is a in a continuous process of transformation caused in order to attain stability.

To put this in simple terms, we shall take the following example:-

Now imagine yourself standing in front of a small mound of pebbles – pebbles of all sizes and shapes.

Now consider what happens if you disturb the mound with a tool like a stick, for example?

We can see that certain pebbles fall down. Have your ever wondered why this happens?

We can say that it is Newton’s Law of Gravitation at work. Yes, but there is more to it.

This force called Gravitation is the cumulative sum of individual nano forces at the atomic level. Now the atoms have a charge either +ve or negative and tend to attract atoms of unlike charges so that the charges unite to form a stable configuration.

The same happens when a pebble falls. The Gravitational force exerted by the earth on the pebble is an attractive force and the pebble has no choice other than submit itself to this magnanimous force and fall down towards it. What happens here is that the pebble has become stabilized and also the Gravitational force acting upon it is also partially satiated.

The same applies to each and every atom, molecule, element in the universe. They all lack in one or more components that can stabilise them, hence this quest for stability.

Now consider that all the atoms, molecules, compounds, elements, matter etc. – you name them – all possess a stable configuration. What do you get. A totally motionless universe. Can you bear the monotony? No. So what essentially happens is that the quest for stability initiates change and it is this change that keeps this universe dynamic and comprehensible.
