I always thought that if the time came, I could be a columnist. I now know that it isn’t for me. Then again, I’ll let you decide.
As I keep playing that day over and over in my head, I keep thinking that it does sound negative in me stating it philosophically that my beauty keeps guys away. However, who is to say that we are negative or not. According to the dictionary, negativity is defined as characterizing by the absence of distinguishing or marked qualities or features; lacking positive attributes. Yet, isn’t that how pessimism is defined? The lack of positive attributes seems to be found within both words, but we continue to establish that they are two entirely different things. In addition, if I was negative about myself, according to Bfofjaded, then wouldn’t I be negative about everything else? I don’t know why he said the negative comment but I do know this.
We are all negative about some of the things in our lives. It could be about relationships (whether we had them or not), about things that go wrong in our lives, and so forth. However, we shouldn’t let them run our lives or poison our thoughts about things. True, society is to blame but aren’t we also to blame. Per se, a beautiful, slender woman walks by and she gets attention from most men around her. Then if we take the same scenario and replace the beautiful, slender woman with a beautiful, full-figured woman she can get the attention of men in a demeaning way. I don’t see why if every woman is beautiful despite their weight or their shoe size. Why we criticize is another story but we have to remember that negativity lingers to prey on its next victim. Is it you?
