So there I was, watching American Idol, and there was Lionel Richie and he was awesome!!!! And when KISS came on and that was all that glitter I was just like “Wow.” There was even more glitter than I saw on stage that one time that Cate Blanchett did a play in Sydney. And when I saw Steve Martin I just had to press record, because my mom loves him. Ad the show carried on for hours and hours but I didn’t notice because it was such great viewing. Even the cat started to watch the tv.

I did wonder though what happens to people in the audience if they need to go to the bathroom? I also wondered how much the tickets in the golden circle cost because they look like lots of fun, you get to be right up close near the famous people, and the people there looked like they were having a great time. And all I saw was lots of beautiful people in amazing clothes. And there was Rod Stewart. Ah, my mom will enjoy watching him too. And there was that hunky guy from e-news. And this one girl kissed him. i would have too if I’d been near him lol.

I also thought that it was really cool the way all of the other idols were willing to come back and perform. Its amazing. If it had been me I might have been resentful at not being in the final two but I guess it is definitely a great opportunity. They get to strut their stuff and be famous all over again.

So back to Adam and how hot he is, his suit looked amazing and performed very well. And Kris Allen had the audience captivated with his romanic songs and soothing voice. Wow, all those hot talented guys and beautiful women. I think I’m starstruck, I think I want to move to Hollywood. They all live in Hollywood right?

I was glad to see that all the women are using liquid eyeliner because I have just bought some. I wish we could get lists all the products they are using. And didn’t Paula Abdul look amazing! And that chick who sang in her bikini. Wow she had a great voice and a great tummy. And Simon was very nice to the performers, all in all.

And even one or two of the people they’d sent away during auditions got trophies which is cool because even if you’re lousy you still get your moment of fame, which is pretty awesome. Like that chick who stole the microphone and ran away. I think it was a stunning show. If I get the chance I will definitely go to see the next one live.

Apparently there were one hundred million votes cast to get the winner, and it was Kris Allen. Wow. And there were fireworks. And he looked so over-whelmed. He sang again for the crowd, whilst all this shiny stuff was falling down, I wonder if he even saw. And then his girlfriend was there to hug him and it was just so lovely. What a sweetie-pie, what a lovely voice. It was definitely a five star show with five star people and two five star finalists.
