I have 3 children. My oldest two are girls, and my youngest is a boy. He is the only boy on my husbands side of the family that is a blood born boy. The other two are step grandkids to my mother inlaw. My middle child, whom is a girl, has a gift that I can’t explain. She has many gifts actually that I can not explain or find any rhym or reason for.

Since she was an infant and started talking, she has said the most craziest things. How she knew some of the things she came off with is beyond me. She has an act for seeing things that can’t be explained. Well, she actually sees people that we can’t.

When she was about 2 or 3, we were at my parents and my mom was in a nostalgic mood. Pulling out her old photo albums, I saw my great grandparents. Mind you I have never seen the majority of these people. They were passed on before I was born. My baby at the time, pointed to a picture of my grandpa and said, “Hey, I know that man!”. She was so excited and giggling that I thought she was just being Ally. So I brushed it off.

Still looking at the photos, she came across a picture of my great grandpparents. Once again she got all excited and said, “Hey mom, I know that lady too!”. By this time I was getting annoyed. I said to her, “How do you know these people Ally. I haven’t even met them myself.” She looked at me with the puzzled blue eyes of hers, and she simply says, “Yes you do, they’re always at our house.” I couldn’t quite grasp what she was talking about.

Questioning her more in depth, she was telling me stories about how they read to her and would play babies with her. My mom, who is a faithful die hard in the mystical life, was smiling and laughing. She told me I had to hold on to that thought and let her ride it.

Later, I finally realized what had been happening. How do you tell your husband that your baby is seeing ghosts? Would he think I lost my mind? Try to have me or her committed? As the days past, I finally got up the nerve to tell him. He did just what I thought he would do. He looked at me like I was dumb. Not talking much more about, days turned into weeks, then months.
