Today is as lousy as yesterday. No more mental block, or writer’s block, whatever. But I have an annoying digestive flatulence (“kabag” in my native tongue Tagalog).
Hours have passed and now I’m okay. It’s about 2:30 p.m. and I’m using a new ballpen. When will I ever stop using the word “ballpen”? It’s been accepted in our vernacular since time immemorial, but it’s nonexistent in my Webster’s dictionary. There’s only “ballpoint” which best describes the pen. Whatever the reason, just thinking about this, sometimes, scares the pants off me, and it gives me another mental block, which is counterproductive to my writing. Never mind . . . just do it no matter what happens—the solution can be as simple as that.
