A couple of weeks ago I wrote an article, my article was in regards to what we put in our mouth and are we shoving toxic waste down our throats?  Big Apple Pizzaria showed me that  there is still hope.  They have restored my faith and made me want to dine out once again. 

The other day I had a craving for a slice of pizza. On my way home I decided to stop by the local pizzeria and grab a slice of pizza.   I entered the pizzeria, proceeded to the back, then the pizza man took my order.  I ordered  2 supreme slices to go.  As I was sitting there waiting for my pizza,  I looked up and my eyes focused directly behind the area where the pizza was being displayed.

I got out of my seat then asked the pizzeria owner this question. ” Excuse me sir, but did you alter your health review scores?” He smiled at me, and  this was his response. “The State offers a 1 week course in health and sanitation.  Once the course is completed they give you a certificate, also his establishment receives 2 additional point toward their health code rating”.  The score that they received, was a 101.5, that is the highest score I’d ever seen in any establishment.  I believe that anyone willing to go the extra distance to insure that their customers are well taken care of, “kudos”.  Big Apple Pizzeria serves up an array of delicious food cuisines, that is guaranteed to make your stomach smile, all in a clean and well operated setting.

One day I  went into a dinner when my husband and I were on the road, I will not disclose the name. I’d rather not be in the middle of a laws suit.  I looked behind the counter you could see under the grill, it looked like food was swept under the counter and left there for months.  From my observation this lead me to believe that after eating there, I would soon be carried out on a stretcher, rushed to the emergency room and immediately had to have my stomach pumped.  I value my life too much, and I would  like to live to see another day.  I hope they get their act together before the health department slaps a condemned sign on their front door.
