The humility of these animals is indescribable.

“It is better to become a bird who walks on the ground searching for silence, rather than a proud man who never lets his feet touch the ground, always looking always for the noise of war.”

Let us face the fact that it is hard to pretend you can eat dried fish if you are used to take only ham and salad since childhood. It is more complicated to fall from the very peak than to take-off from the ground like a rocket. In short it is more unacceptable to absorb nothingness than fame, failure than fame.

On the contrary to the above statement, I would like to make it a point that those are only the attitudes of people who have not accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Let us be different and shine among them. What is the use of light given to us to right the wrong philosophy, and the salt to preserve the nation? Remember, dark has never complained to the light. How can we reach out people if we do not deny our pride? How can we hug the needy if we are roped and enticed by our own selfish desires?

One best example of a humble deed is the birds. They can fly as high as the mountains, they can ride along the fully clouds, they can play tricks on the blowing winds so that no harmful land creatures can strike them, yet they still choose to walk on the ground. The only sparkling idea here is that they want to make their enemies fell relaxed and hear the sweet sound of their humming “twit-twits”. Imagine the land without birds’ cohabiting it. Everything that is sadness conquers the vacuum.

Look at the high plains and hills and you’ll encounter again birds. This time they spread small seeds in their own messy way to plant trees and lessen the effects of the global warming. I f there is available award that will be granted to animals, I will duly recognized birds for their unrelenting service to their abusive nature of man. They serve to strangers without asking for a return. They walk to the ground to paint happiness to the land creatures even if they are destined to rule over the wind.

May we grasp a special lesson to the wondrous birds that know what humility and service means, which can differentiate selfishness from giving? How much more we are, the living sons of God?
