Now that she has decided to change her hair color, which color will she choose?
I was born with brown hair. No, not the beautiful dark brown you may be thinking of, or the glowing golden brown sun kissed color you may have seen. Mine is something of a, medium ash brown. It may look good on some people, and I’m sure it does, but with my pale skin color, and my pretty, yet pale green eyes, I’ve got a washed out look. I guess I must have seen one too many ads, with some model tossing around her shiny newly colored hair and they hooked me. Okay, you got me. I’m going to do it. I need color.
So now comes the decision. Now that I’ve decided to dye my hair, what color do I choose? Do I want those smoldering brown locks I mentioned before? Do I want that golden sunny blonde hair? I can just picture myself in a bikini, on a beach, the wind blowing through my new blonde hair. What about red hair? How interesting, and vibrant I would look! Which red would I strive for, the red vibrant “look at me” red, or the lighter, softer red that would accentuate my green eyes so well?
My first instinct, is not to stray from my own color group. I have been thinking about it, and the very dark brown, with out any red highlights is the brown I would want. A few shades before you would get to black. Think of how this color looks on some other people. My next door neighbor has a nice dark brown color also, the bank teller has always had the luscious brown locks. Very dark and very sexy. My own sister for another. All with very beautiful dark brown hair. Of course if I looked like any one of them, that would help. But I don’t. This is me, and frankly I need a makeover.
Beautiful blonde hair is everywhere. There are countless stars out there, in movies, as well as television, and their curled blonde locks are beautiful! Now that is blonde! What about those ads I mentioned? Imagine myself as a blonde? Yes! I can do that. Or maybe I would like the frosted look. Now that is good hair! Blonde hair is vibrant. You notice the blondes before anyone else. Its almost like the hair is glowing. It does call attention to yourself. My best friend has blonde hair (dyed). Her natural color is brown. I wonder how it would look when both of us enter a room as blondes? I don’t know if I want to be a carbon copy of my friend however. I’ve also noticed that blondes as well as brunettes can wear pretty much any color clothing, and it looks great. I’m not sure thats true with red hair.
I think that red hair is so pretty. I myself like the very shinny vibrant reds. not the reddish brown, not auburn, but red . The kind of red you find on that little red haired neighbor girl. You can see it for a mile, and in the sunshine, it catches and intensifies every ray of light. Not too dark red, not too light, not strawberry blonde, but red. I noticed a lady in church. has a beautiful shade of red. Kind of dark red, but, it works for her. I still couldn’t decide, so, I decided to go try on some wigs, at this shop nearby.
