To be a child, once again.

Jonny and Susie
Sitting on a bench
Gazing at the sun
Watching it set
His arm around her
As she leans in
Snuggling closer
Feeling safe with him
In her hand she holds
Slightly withered daisies
That he had picked
As poor little Buddy
Patiently waits
For his fishing trip
But Jonny pays no heed
For he only thinks of Susie
Secure within his arms
Completely content
And utterly disarmed
A time of innocence
And childhood romance
Once upon a time
Oh, to be young again
My sweet heart of mine
