What type of distractions you get and when they occur.
It seems to be that in my case, my distractions occur when i’m trying to revise. For example, I’ve been constantly checking on my twitter whilst trying to nudge my memory on what it knows on population change. Due to my twitter updates, my brain has learnt nothing, in the past hour. Also, during revision it has also become known to myself that I get hungry a lot faster and that means having to walk downstairs and crouch down in front of the fridge debating for twenty minutes what I would like to eat.. This resulted into a quarter of a chocolate easter egg and then ending with a tuna and cheese toastie with some doritos on the side.
What is it that makes us instantly makes our brains get bored with what we’re doing and finding anything else more interesting. I mean, in lessons i find that looking out the window is more interesting, even when there is nothing going on out there. During a television programme, sometimes it’s more fascinating to analyse the remote control. What is it?
For my own conclusion, I guess it’s because, well for me, that my imagination wants to do something more adventurous. It doesn’t want to learn about population structures, it wants to dream andimagine of things that wouldn’t happen in every day life. For example, whilst staring at my bed post, I imagined what it would be like to take my bed under the sea and meet Ariel from ‘Little Mermaid’ and spend the day with her, swimming and meeting all her friends. But then *snap* i’m back into reality. Because I get distracted by something else.
This is my first ever article and I don’t know if it will be up to standard with the other articles that get published, but give me a chance and give it a view. I’m learning and this is my biggest distraction yet today.. apart from the big food fiasco.
Ciao for now.
